Who’s Andrew Bender?

No photo description available.

That would be me. I’m not Andrew Bender the travel writer, although his job does sound fun.

Here is my Twitter account and my LinkedIn profile. Oh, and Instagram. I also have a Facebook account that I use about as often as Friendster. You can reach me at: [my first name] @ [the name of this site] .com

What I’m working on

I’m a senior product leader focused on strategy and user research and analytics. I’ve worked with both startups and public companies. Two of those startups were my own: one in social networking, and another in machine learning/AI. Both were funded by Imagine K12, which is now part of Y Combinator. My engineering degree is from Dartmouth, and my MBA is from Kellogg at Northwestern.

Sorry: I’m not making seed investments at this time.

Other stuff

After many years in San Francisco—I was the mysterious person behind Printers of San Francisco, which had a lot more followers back when I actually updated it—I semi-recently moved back to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Oh, and I have two kids and two cats; on this site you’ll see picture of the latter taken by the former, but never the opposite.
